Premium cookware brand Avacraft has overhauled its logistics by adopting Amazon’s end-to-end supply chain services. Here's what you need to know:
-
Avacraft slashed daily supply chain work hours from 5–6 hours per day to just 5–6 per week by using Amazon Warehousing and Distribution (AWD) and Amazon Global Logistics (AGL), according to CEO Asha Kangralkar at Amazon Accelerate 2025.
-
Amazon Warehousing and Distribution (AWD) enables auto-replenishment of inventory from storage to Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), replacing Avacraft’s previously manual and fragmented process with third-party warehouses.
-
Amazon Global Logistics (AGL) simplified international freight, customs, and documentation; Kangralkar now receives quotes instantly and sends carton labels directly to manufacturers in India or China, with Amazon handling the rest.
-
Previously complex processes involving 3PLs, UPS coordination, and multiple system entries (e.g., Seller Central, freight forwarding approvals, manual pallet labeling) have been consolidated through Amazon’s ecosystem.
-
Avacraft plans to adopt Amazon’s upcoming Global AWD service, which will enable on-demand inventory pulls directly from manufacturing facilities, freeing up capital for product development and marketplace expansion.
