Calvin Klein has introduced a new takeback initiative aimed at making circular fashion more accessible. The program accepts used apparel from any brand and ensures responsible reuse, recycling, or disposal. Here's what you need to know: 

  • Calvin Klein launched the Re‑Calvin program in the U.S., allowing customers to return clothing from any brand for responsible reuse, recycling, or disposal.

  • The program includes categories often excluded from similar initiatives, such as bras, underwear, and swimwear.

  • Re‑Calvin uses Trove’s Takeback Plug‑In and logistics partner Debrand to manage item sorting and provide transparent updates to consumers.

  • Shoppers receive an email confirming whether each item was reused, recycled, or converted into energy, enhancing visibility into the process.

  • Resale and circular shopping are expected to generate $64 billion in holiday sales, with 47% of U.S. consumers likely to gift secondhand items. Other brands like Patagonia, Peloton, and Uniqlo are also expanding resale programs using Trove’s technology.
