Edible Brands has partnered with Goody to launch a new digital marketplace featuring non-perishable third-party gifts, aiming to expand its ecommerce presence and tap into consumer demand during the holiday season. Here's what you need to know:
  • Edible introduced a curated gift marketplace on its site, featuring products from brands like Carbone and Homesick, powered by Goody’s API. This move aims to grow online offerings, especially in areas without physical storefronts.

  • Edible's web sales hit $539.88M in 2023, but growth has slowed, projected to decline by -2.3% in 2025 to $517.81M, signaling the need for new strategies like marketplace expansion.

  • Edible will be able to use 3PLs for orders through the marketplace, allowing them to reach customers in places without Edible storefronts, sidestepping inventory and geography limitations.

  • The marketplace enables Edible to leverage new data, helping identify future product trends and optimize offerings.
